Here at Tiki Hut Coffee, we pride ourselves on being a charitable and socially responsible company above all else. That’s why were more than happy to lend our help to the Long Island High School for the Arts “Broadway Supports LIHSA” fundraiser. The fundraiser served as a call to action to raise awareness for the school for funding and enrollment purposes.
The high school campus’ Seymour Weiner Theatre hosted twenty Broadway stars who are credited with over 50 shows like Cats, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Kinky Boots, including Todd Buonopane, Matt Shingledecker, Nick Rashad Burroughs, Jeffry Denman, Sara Esty, Michael Rupert, Chad Kimball, Lauren Molina, Garen Scribner and Steffanie Leigh, as Newsday reported.
The event was co-produced and directed by industry veterans Jerome Vivona and Stephen DeAngelis, who worked closely with The Campaign for LIHSA for the fundraiser.
The event showcased the many talented names from the Great White Way, who sang, danced and shared their stories about their time in the industry.
“It is deeply touching for these talented Broadway entertainers to donate their time to put together an unprecedented performance to support LIHSA,” Nassau BOCES District Superintendent Dr. Robert R. Dillon told Patch ahead of the fundraiser. “The evening will not only help raise awareness of our enrollment issues and stellar arts programs, it will also provide our current and future LIHSA students the opportunity to see how successful they can become!”
The Broadway Supports LISHA fundraiser is a cause we at Tiki Hut Coffee strongly believe in.
